M. Alim Malik Speaks on Cybercrime at Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce
IRVINE, CA - As part of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Business Education and Networking Speaker Series, M. Alim Malik, President of the Firm and Chair of its Labor and Employment and Litigation Services Groups, recently spoke to business owners on the topic of “Cybercrime: How To Protect Your Business” - an issue which has been pushed to the forefront of national discourse in light of recent events. Mr. Malik addressed the need for companies to protect their confidential data (particularly banking data) from both internal and external threats. Mr. Malik discussed a variety of security policies and other business strategies. The presentation took place on July 17, 2013 at the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club in Corona del Mar. The presentation was supported by a former member of the Secret Service, a representative of the FBI and the SBA.
