Andrew P. Bernstein is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Services Group. He has extensive experience in the acquisition, disposition, leasing and finance of residential, commercial, retail and industrial projects throughout the United States.

Mr. Bernstein’s practice has included the representation of many publicly and privately held residential and commercial developers in land sales and acquisitions throughout California. He also has extensive experience in representing developers of master-planned communities in the structuring and documentation of builder land sale programs. He also regularly represents clients in negotiating limited liability company operating agreements for real estate development and investment, as well as restructuring troubled projects. He has extensive experience in the acquisition and disposition of hotels and multi-family residential projects, and in the representation of both landlords and tenants in ground leases and in office, retail and industrial leasing transactions.

Mr. Bernstein also has substantial expertise in the representation of both borrowers and lenders in commercial lending and workout trans­actions. He has developed special expertise in matters involving the real estate aspects of military base redevelopment and privatization projects. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce, and a Lifetime Member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chapter of the Building Industry Association. Mr. Bernstein is rated as an “AV Preeminent” attorney by Martindale Hubbell.
